Wafaa Dikah Hamze was appointed Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs in the Lebanese Government (2004) and is one of the founding members of the NCLW and its Vice-Chairwoman. She is a consultant in Gender and Women's Empowerment and Sustainable Development with dozens of studies and was elected to several international posts.
She has participated in the drafting of the statute of the Arab Women Organization and became most recently member of its Executive Council.

She graduated from the AUB with a master's degree in agricultural sciences, rural development. She also holds master's degrees in management of development programs from Germany and the Netherlands.
